Overhaul of gear on Wind Innovation

The offshore support vessel Wind Innovation had a trip to Esbjerg Harbor during the summer, where the ship, among other things, had two gears overhauled.

Wind Innovation belongs to the shipping company CBED Holding A/S, which is a subsidiary of Monjasa A/S.

The shipping company wanted two West-Marine A/S service technicians associated with this project, who, under the project management of a Brunvoll A/S technician, would be responsible for a thorough overhaul of both gears.

In detail, the work task consisted of dismantling the gears and subsequently replacing the bearings at West-Marine’s workshop, then fitting the gears into the ship. And of course it all ended with an alignment of both gears. The task was carried out to the great satisfaction of the customer.
