5 and 10-year dry docking

We are proud to have completed 5 and 10-year dry dockings of ESVAGT’s 2 vessels – Celina and Carina. Both vessels are tasked with ensuring safety in the offshore oil and gas industry.

Our team of skilled technicians has worked to ensure that these vessels remain in top condition and ready to tackle any challenge they may encounter.

During the 10-year docking, we carried out a complete replacement of both the upper and lower gears. This involved replacing the old gears and replacing them with completely new, fully refurbished gears. The hydraulic tanks were also cleaned. All of this was done to ensure that the vessels remain in good operational condition.

The old gears are currently with West-Marine and are undergoing refurbishment. This means that we are replacing bearings, liners, seals, and various gaskets. Once this process is complete, the gears will be ready to be put back into service aboard an ESVAGT vessel.

During the 5-year docking, we also performed a series of important maintenance tasks. Among other things, we replaced the lower gear and cleaned the hydraulic tanks.

The old lower gears are currently at West Marine A/S and are undergoing a complete overhaul. We are also replacing bearings, liners, sealing rings, and gaskets.

Our technicians worked with precision and care to ensure that all tasks were carried out correctly and efficiently. We understand the importance of these vessels to ESVAGT and the industry as a whole, and we are proud to contribute to their success.
