Service technician in Gdansk, Poland

At West-Marine, we frequently send technicians and engineers on assignments, both big and small, domestically and internationally. Recently, our service technician Jonas Keimling was in Gdansk, Poland, where he was tasked with a project for ZF Marine Krimpen in Holland at the Remontowa Shipyard.

The main task at hand was to replace 2 propeller shaft seals on the dredging vessel Vitruvius.

After a week’s work, Jonas could return home to West-Marine after completing the task to the customer’s great satisfaction.
