Line Thrower PLT® Multi
As the name indicates Restech line thrower PLT®Multi has many functions – a package with 11 different projectiles and 4 different launching tubes.
This line thrower is often applied when combining different projectiles for different tasks using only one launching unit.
The launcher either operates at 200 (2900 psi) or 300 bar (4350 psi).
PLT®Multi is available in different versions for use at sea or on land. The many versions range from PLT®230 Rescue, PLT®230 Basic, PLT®150 Rescue, PLT®150, PLT @ 75, PLT® Line Retrieval to PLT® Anti-Piracy.

Application of the Multi Line Thrower
Within the marine Restech line thrower Multi is used as deck equipment to comply with the SOLAS Rules. Some of the projectiles meet special requirements SOLAS LTA – such as collecting lines or heaving a line from a to b.

On land, PLT® Multi is used by rescue organizations, power and mining companies, on construction sites, terminals, by the police, fire brigade and military organizations.

PLT® Rescue 230 Line Thrower

PLT® 150 Line Thrower

- Projectile with a rubber tip that protects and minimizes the impact on landing

- With dry and clean line, the projectile reaches 140 meters
- Applications: Mooring tasks, Offshore industry, rescue operations, transfer messenger line from FPSO (Floating production storage and offloading) to tanker
PLT® 75 Line Thrower

- Launching of an orange water-filled, rubber ball with a line of 120 meters behind it
- Launching distance 90 meters with a dry and clean line of 5 mm

PLT® Line Retrieval

- Launching 6 times without refilling the air cylinder (at 300 bar)
- Has a solid hook that can pick up objects in the water up to 85 meters away
- Application: AHTS (Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessels), tugs, seismic vessels
