Neighbors on a service task

We were contacted by our neighbor at the harbor in Esbjerg, A/S Oilpower Hydraulics, who needed assistance with a challenging task on one of ZITON’s ships – the Wind Pioneer.

The task involved a comprehensive overhaul of the vessel’s two thrusters, and our technicians approached it with thoroughness.

One thruster had been bent, and the other had developed leaks in the hydraulic hoses, necessitating a more extensive operation. It was decided that since both thrusters were already up, to replace the hydraulic hoses on both thrusters.

To replace the hydraulic hoses, our technicians had to remove the sub-gears on both thrusters to ensure access.

A complex task indeed, but our team handled it well, and both thrusters are now in perfect condition and reinstalled on the ship. The entire process was carried out at our workshop in close collaboration with A/S Oilpower Hydraulics. We are pleased to deliver efficient and precise service in this complex task.
