The horizontal centrifugal pump BOB is the largest pump when it comes to horizontal centrifugal pumps in terms of flow and pressure characteristics. It is designed for transfers of a larger volume of relatively pure liquids such as water and low viscosity liquids. The pump is also used for cooling or fire fighting, where the flow rate is crucial.

Horizontal centrifugal pump with robust bearings and construction with a flexible coupling. The centrifugal pump BOB is a pump with high efficiency and low NPSH and thus the pump has a large suction capacity.

Centrifugal Pump BOB – Function

The centrifugal pump works by directing liquid into the hub and then being hurled towards the periphery by means of the centrifugal force. The construction is robust and simple, and the high speed makes it possible to connect the pump directly to a motor.

Approved Selfpriming Centrifugal Pump

The self-priming centrifugal pump is cast, machined and assembled at Azcue Pumps in Spain. Each pump is designed to fit your process, resulting in greater efficiency and lower overall lifetime costs in terms of wear and energy consumption. All pumps are tested individually before leaving the factory. The centrifugal pumps are marine approved, among other things by Lloyds and ABS

Service

Like the other pumps in the Azcue program, the centrifugal pump BOB benefits from the interchangeable part for reduced on board stockholding. The task of replacing a pump prematurely that just needs maintenance won’t be necessary.

At West-Marine, we have many years of experience in servicing pumps from Azcue Pumps in Spain and guarantee supply of spare parts for many years to come from final production of a model. Thus, the user doesn’t need to replace a pump – only a spare part.
