A ride on the blue waves with Fulton
Last week, we had the honor of inviting a number of great partners to a fantastic afternoon at sea aboard the more than 100-year-old three-masted schooner, Fulton.
The afternoon, in addition to excellent weather at sea, offered engaging conversations, socializing, and a unique insight into a ship and project that we are proud ambassadors for.
This afternoon, the average age on Fulton was possibly raised a bit. The ship Fulton is usually filled with young, sea-worthy individuals and is therefore also known as the youth ship. Our guests gained a unique insight into Fulton’s important work with young sailors as Captain Jakob Jensen, amidst the waves’ roar, shared about the ship’s important initiatives and, not least, its fascinating history.
Every day, the young people, along with the rest of the crew, work together to get the ship to sail as smoothly as possible. But behind the goal lies the vision of helping young people experience a sense of community they may not encounter in their daily lives, focusing on building confidence and self-worth through successful experiences.
“It means a lot to us to give our partners insight into a project we believe in so strongly and are proud to support. The afternoon not only offered exciting and important stories, but the experience on the ship itself was also truly special. We had views of Esbjerg Harbor from the water, where we saw the impressive Esvagt ships and the many large buildings of the port. We were also accompanied by seals and even the rare sea eagles,” says Carsten Larsen, our CEO.
All in all, it was a fantastic afternoon at sea. We’re already looking forward to the next time we take guests out on the water again.
