Overhaul of the Tugboat Joulius

The summer also included a trip to Assens for a couple of our service technicians who were tasked with performing a complete overhaul of the tugboat Joulius’ Brunvoll thruster.

This task was a technically sound challenge, which our team of technicians approached with expertise and precision. They disassembled the thruster and installed new bearings and sealing rings to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Our technicians performed shaft alignment and worked on the OD box to ensure everything was perfectly aligned. We adjusted the propeller blades to maximize the efficiency and maneuverability of the tugboat.

We are proud of our partnership with Assens Shipyard, which provided their workshop facilities for this project.
