A Powerful Screw Pump

A screw pump BT-LV is a large, powerful model, which is characterized by its significantly higher flow capacity than the other screw pumps in Azcue’s program.

This screw spindle pump consists of three spindles surrounded by a pump casing. The medium, eg oil, is transported axially through the pump via the chambers that arise between the housing and the spindles.

The design of the screw spindle pump also means that it can be used where suction capabilities are difficult, such as pumping over long distances, or where the pump is located above the liquid.

This makes the screw spindle pump suitable for a range of services.

What is a screw spindle pump?

As a positive displacement pump, the screw spindle pump is capable of handling lubricating fluids at fluctuating flow rates, pressures and viscosities without losing efficiency. Pump design and construction enable silent fluid handling without turbulence.

The screw spindle pump is horizontal in design with inline suction and discharge, delivered flanged as standard.

Approved Screw Spindle Pump BT-LV

Each pump is designed to fit your process, resulting in greater efficiency and lower lifetime costs in terms of wear and energy consumption. All pumps are tested individually before leaving the factory.

The screw spindle pump is type approved by the navy, eg Lloyds / ABS.

Like the other pumps in the Azcue program, the screw spindle pumps BT-LV benefits from the interchangeable part for reduced on board stockholding. The task of replacing a pump prematurely that just needs maintenance won’t be necessary.
