Subsequently, we sent our skilled and experienced service technician, Jens Gundersen, to Algeciras in southern Spain.&#13;\n&#13;\nThe oil tanker Monjasa Leader is a vessel in the large and heavy category with a deadweight of 63,579 tons. Therefore, it might sound like a drop in the ocean when we say that the propeller itself weighs 48 tons. Each propeller blade weighs 4.7 tons, and the coupling, located in the engine room, weighs 7.2 tons.
