The Sylt Ferry, which sails between Havneby on R\u00f8m\u00f8 and List on the German island of Sylt, recently visited the port of Esbjerg, where it underwent a major overhaul. \n<\/p>\n\n

Esbjerg Shipyard A\/S chose to collaborate with West-Marine for the overhaul of the ferry’s propeller hubs, propeller blades, and replacement of the sealing glands. \n \nThe overhaul of the propeller hubs was conducted under the supervision of a Kongsberg Maritime supervisor, who also participated in the collaboration.<\/p>\n\n

Our three service technicians completed their part of the overhaul several days before the scheduled completion, much to everyone’s satisfaction.<\/p>\n\n

A big thanks to Esbjerg Shipyard for including us in this task, as the successful overhaul would not have been possible without their professional expertise and experience. <\/p>\n\n

The ferry is now back in operation, ensuring smooth crossings between the Danish and German islands.<\/p>\n\n
