I slutningen af 2021 fik West-Marine via Semco Maritime<\/a> en stor thruster-opgave mellem h\u00e6nderne. Denne opgave skulle udf\u00f8res for det danske rederi Cadeler<\/a>, der tidligere har sendt tvillingeskibet, Wind Osprey<\/a>, forbi havnen i Esbjerg, hvor s\u00e5vel Semco Maritime som West-Marine geografisk ligger placeret. <\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Der var denne gang tale om WTG installationsskib Wind Orca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opgaven lignede p\u00e5 flere punkter det tidligere arbejde p\u00e5 Wind Osprey, der var forbi Esbjerg i det tidlige efter\u00e5r 2021. Dog var der skruet lidt op for opgavens omfang. Til forskel skulle fire Brunvoll thrustere p\u00e5 Wind Osprey overhales, hvor Wind Orca skulle have alle otte thrustere overhalet \u2013 b\u00e5de de forreste Brunvoll Azimut thrustere og de bagerste ABB Azipod thrustere.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samarbejdet var igen med teknikere fra Semco Maritime og Brunvoll A\/S<\/a> \u2013 og denne gang ogs\u00e5 med teknikere fra virksomheden ABB<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Endnu en gang var der stor succes med det gode samarbejde virksomhederne imellem omkring overhalingen af de store thrustere. West-Marines teknikere var derfor fagligt stolte da Wind Orca i begyndelsen af 2022 igen kunne forlade Esbjerg Havn og genoptage arbejdet med at installere havvindm\u00f8ller rundt om i Danmark og resten af verden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For West-Marine var det som vanligt vores CTO Alex Fjord Christensen, der havde det fulde overblik over vores del af arbejdet sammen med virksomhedens \u00f8vrige dygtige og kompetente serviceteknikere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fra Azimut \u2013 Til Azipod<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Overhalingen af de forreste fire Brunvoll Azimut thrustere monteret p\u00e5 Wind Orca forl\u00f8b ligesom den seneste opgave p\u00e5 Wind Osprey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Det nye var, at de fire bagerste ABB Azipod thrustere skulle have overhalet propel pak-d\u00e5serne p\u00e5 alle fire. En enkelt af de store ABB Azipod-thustere m\u00e5tte dog udskiftes og dette har West-Marine assisteret Semco Maritime og ABB med. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disse ABB Azipods er nogle ordentlige moppedrenge og vejer hver i omegnen af 48 tons. De har hver en effekt p\u00e5 hele 3,5 MW. Propellen vejer i sig selv 4,6 tons. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201dWest-Marine har assisteret med et professionelt og kompetent team p\u00e5 thruster-overhalingen, hvilket har sikret en sikker gennemf\u00f8relse af denne opgave i samarbejde med Semco Maritimes project team,\u201d siger Senior Project Manager i Semco Maritime, S\u00f8ren Hede-Jensen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
